The Northern Ireland Theatre Association (NITA) is the representative body for professional theatre in Northern Ireland.
We are run by our members for our members.
NITA's activities are designed to build capacity and strengthen professional theatre across Northern Ireland.
On behalf of our members we provide effective lobbying on issues affecting the performing arts sector; arrange sector specific training; support emerging professionals; facilitate the export of Northern Irish theatre internationally and promote theatre access. In addition, we aim to build the capacity of our member organisations through information exchange and networking events.
