Incorporating the Theatre Producers’ Group (NI), the Northern Ireland Theatre Association (NITA) is the body for professional & semi-professional theatre in Northern Ireland. NITA provides a collective voice for the theatre sector. We undertake lobbying & advocacy on our members’ behalf, deliver sector-specific training, provide excellent networking opportunities, information exchange, circulate details of employment opportunities & much more!

NITA members are drawn from a wide section of the region’s theatre community and include all the major theatre venues and production companies in Northern Ireland. NITA aims to become a high-profile strategic arts organisation. As well as being a voice for the sector, it will aim to raise the quality and profile of theatre, act as a ‘think tank’ for theatre, drive innovation & creativity, be a passionate and proactive advocate for theatre, and champion the benefits that we know theatre provides to our region and its people.
